I have some scars on my arm from self harming ... and I have to see my doctor soon; I can't put it off much longer. They're quite faint, but still noticeable.
I fell off a wall today (long stupid story) and grazed my arm, and that gave me an idea. If I kind of gazed the part where the scars are against a wall, would that be enough to disguise them?
I really don't want any more shrinks and doctors and counseling because of this, so just tell me; will it work or not?

You'd get peace temporarily, but not in the long run... your choice

It might. I suggest you tell your doctor if you're still self-harming, but if you've overcome it then I think it's okay if you lie about it.

This.

You could cover it with make-up or something. If they notice the make-up, just say you got scratched by your cat, but you didn't think people would believe you so you covered it up, because you don't wanna go to therapy.

Or you could tell the truth and not give a damn what people say.

The scars don't look cat-made
I can't tell the truth. I just want some piece, and telling the truth won't give me that.
