I need a little help figuring out my summer. Creativity and some focus needed. I don't have points to offer but we can make some sort of other deal if you're searching for compensation, perhaps?

It's my last summer before college and I want to meet new people and actually just party and have a good time. My high school crew wasn't into that kind of stuff.

I'm also just pretty bored because I couldn't get a full-time job so I just have random babysitting jobs scattered all around, leaving weekends completely open.

So do you have any insight as to how I can accomplish this? Concrete ideas, I mean. Don't just tell me to go to the mall, because who actually makes friends at the mall? Blah. I am also on the quiet side.

Gracias? Although I'm unsure as to how many people will spend time on this topic.

Uni's going to be the best place to make new friends.
Just wait, chill out.  Most of the time when someone's trying super hard to make new friends, they come across as a creeper.
Don't worry about it, if it happens, it happens.  Just know that you'll be making new friends, for sure, when you leave off for school.

What about joining a team for a sport you're interested in?
It's a great way to meet new people.
