Ok before they do the fireworks in my town they have what basically amounts to a church service. But if you want to be anywhere near the good places you have to show up early and get stuck listening to the service.

Well during one part they had this little girl, like 5, up on the stage for some reason and she wanted to say something. So she took the microphone and said hi my name is Kayla I like. At this point she froze up and her mom told her to say dancing the little girl said this then her mom told her to say god. That kind of got me a little perturbed. But then the little girl froze up again so her mom told her to say god bless america. So she said it then they walked off of the stage.

I don't know why but when parents have their kids say stuff like that it just bugs me. Quit trying to make your child believe in your god and let them develop their own beliefs.

What a stupid thing to get mad at.

Oh, and 5 year old kids can hardly think for themselves. If it were up to them, Barney would be president and an animal cracker would be the American flag.

True but still their parents are helping to form their opinions. So an influence like that from a early age causes a child to develop opinions not their own.

That annoys me too I mean sometimes there's alot of pressure for kids to cute or patriotic and i feel they should be entitled to there own opinions and my parents have always taught me that.
