I've been noticing that I've been getting very violent lately. Now even the slightest sarcastic comment I blow up over. I just can't take people stepping all over me. My family all treats me like shit and I used to let them but lately I've been resorting to physical violence to get them to shut up.  When my older brother starts shit with me I just punch him in the face or throw water at him and he usually fights back and I end up getting bruised. I realize it's not the best way to deal but I just am sick of having to listen to the vicious remarks that comes out of his mouth.  Anyone have any ideas on how to cope with the constant rude remarks or should I just continue to kick his ass?

well that could be where your anger is coming from, perhaps your family constantly bugging you and its just all building up inside. maybe start writing on a diary? let it all out, maybe it will help a bit. exercising can relieve you a bit as well.

I have the same problem, I was prescribed antidepressants for it (and other problems, obviously). The only things that can usually calm me down are my guitar, and talking to my girlfriend. Do something that you REALLY REALLY have to concentrate on, and do it until you forget about your anger.
