When my boyfriend comes over my parents dont let me close the door. They say it isnt neccessary to have the door closed but we arent having sex so i dont see how its a problem. How can I explain to them that i am old enough to be trusted and I am mature enough to make good decisions.

If you're not having sex then whats the problem?

I guess its because he might try to get it on with you while the door is closed, but trust me after a while, they'll trust you enough to close the door, don't let them down though.

You can't.

You should be old enough to respect your parents wishes though.

Its their house, their rules.  Nothing you can really do about it for now
