The first Turtle Beach Xbox 360 headset I got: the little grey cord that connects to the controller frayed on the inside.

The second Turtle Beach Xbox 360 headset I got: the little grey cord that connects to the controller frayed on one end.

The third Turtle Beach Xbox 360 headset I got: the little grey cord that connects to the controller frayed on the the other end.

The fourth(one I bought 2 fucking days ago) Turtle Beach Xbox 360 headset I got: the little grey cord that connects to the controller (which was working fucking yesterday, fuck it was working a couple of hours ago) fucking stopped working like 10 mins ago!

WTF I take care of my shit, I make sure it isn't on the floor or gets tangled. or anything and this stupid grey cord always manages to break, yet one of my friend bought one 1 year and a half ago and is still using it, no replacement or anything. WTFH do I get the faulty ones. Thats another 60 bucks down the fucking drain...

Just get a normal xbox 360 heaset, so much cheaper, and I've had mine since I bought my 360 and it hasn't broken at all.
Ive gone though eight or nine of those. One time I got it out of the box and put it on my head and the plastic band broke due to the size of my head.

maybe your place of residence has bad wiring or something that sends surges of unconsistent power through your house which damages shit....or..you spaz the fuck out while gaming without realizing it and tug on the cord.

I've never used Turtle Beach hardware. I've never had to replace a headset from Microsoft, but mine temporarily break for weeks at a time and then just start working again. It's weird lol.
