I'm not sure why prostitution is illegal. And i'm really being honset. The very idea seems to contradict itself. Tell me this, i'm going to ask 3 questions.

1. Guy has sex with his girlfriend and when he is done she says she has to go to the store so he gives her money. Someone happens to see. Would this guy go to jail?

2. A guy who is married to hise wife does the same thing, would he go to jail?

3. A guy has sex with a woman and gives her some coupons or something of value to her (not for the sex) but just because he likes her or they are boyfriend and girlfriend, or they are engaged (basically question one but without money being given), has he broke the law?

These laws seem very unfair and i'm not sure why they still exist today. I'm not even sure how people can accept this law and smile about it.

Kids who aren't immunized for diseases and then cause other people to contract and die form those diseases are a legal liability for thier parents who are then charged with murder.

LOL, what the fuck are you talking about? Murder? You moron.

Look it up.

There's no way it can regulated. Not in an effective manner, anyway.

There's no way that it can be criminalized in an effective manner.

I didn't just say food illness, there are many other diseases, ever hear of cancer. Are you saying that if someone gets a disease that its' their fault. You seem more like "Wahh wahh im afraid to have sex" which is worse then not being able to have sex, but thats just you. Diseases just exist in everything. Syphilis can be cured i think, i'm not sure but many of them can be. HIV/Aids can be protected using condoms. Maybe you should do some research. And if these people are so concerned why they ban porn? which is basically the same thing.

Cancer isn't an infectious disease, fuck wit

Syphilis can be cured with penicillin if caught early enough. If not caught, it causes progressive dementia which can lead to violent outburts such as murder. Condoms are not the holy grail of preventative measures in the fight against HIV/AIDS. *sigh* You just have no idea what you're talking about, do you?

*edit* I also fail to see how looking at a picture of a naked woman is the same as having sex with a disease-ridden whore? If you mean the act of sex in porn, that is different. They are technically actresses beng paid to act in a film. Just so happens that in that film, they are having sex. It's not the same.

Spreads infectious disease like wildfire. That's just one reason among many.

However I feel, at least in the US, that the people have a RIGHT to do retarded things as long as no one who doesn't consent to the act is hurt in the process.

You don't have the right to spread infectious disease. It endangers the public at large... which you aren't allowed to do. Kids who aren't immunized for diseases and then cause other people to contract and die form those diseases are a legal liability for thier parents who are then charged with murder.

Prostitution is legal here. It has made it safer for the women also.

that's just another upside to legalizing it.

But STDs aren't the only diseases. What about food diseases, i don't see anyone bannind food however. What about air pollution. Do you seriously not know how many diseases there are out there that kill someone. Besides you seem to be making STDs out to be special.

Except food borne illness and pollution are regulated and the EPA and FDA are all over that shit. The CDC is trying fucking hard to control STD rates and legalizing prostitution is just gonna be a huge fucking slap in the face.

Is the HIV/AIDS pandemic NOT bad enough already? Fuck... Then you've got syphilis and HPV. Dude, do some fucking research holy shit you are so simple-minded.

"wahh wahh why can't I have sex wahhhhh"

I am totally against prosecuting prostitutes for their role in soliciting sex.

and from there you could go into the argument for legalizing prostitution and putting it under governmental regulations and on and on...

yeah my class finally came to that conclusion after about ten days of pointless unmoderated debate

the netherlands has a significantly lower rate of std's than our own country, actually. notably in their prostitution population.

Who the hell would be seeing them have sex in the first place?

Just because the guy hands his girlfriend or whatever money/coupons after sex, doesn't mean he paid her to have sex with him. You're examples aren't even close to prostitution.

Ok, well thats what i was asking. I think someone would have a hard time trying to prove a prostitution case then. If someone paid someone for sex they could just say they gave them the money for groceries.

OP IS UGLY AND WANTS TO BUY A HOOKER, BUT IS AFRAID OF THE OPPRESSIVE U.S. GOVERNMENT.

your right, you seem like the type of person who would make fun of someone with a deformity since you judge people based on their looks. Actually why not just treat someone based on there race since obviously looks are so important. You should be in the government you know actually. You seem like you would make a great candidate.

OP DOESN'T KNOW THAT PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET AREN'T SERIOUS.
