Oh. No, I definitely agree there are other major ones (and other major pros as opposed to having milk that's in cartons). The one's I just stated literally have come up in conversation yesterday, so they were in my head.

The OP never stated that it was, "is being an American bad or good" or "Why does america suck"... so I'm merely putting points out there, which are negative. Long term, you're right, it won't matter. But right now, it does, and in no way can I consider the economy a pro... so I set it as a con, because I'm also not thinking that I don't see it as good or bad.

It's not a draft in the 'draft' sense, lol. Just a three month requirement that's would be manditory for like 18-20 something years old.
Chances are, it won't actually happen, but I consider it a con if I have to go into mandatory training for three months. Sorry about the added bubbles on youtube, they're annoying and I don't agree with them. I just consider it a con if I actually have to be a part of it.

Whether or not you agree with them, they are still cons. Of course the economy will get better, but for now? It is bad. I would hope there's no draft, and it probably won't go through. But that was why I used the word "may". And as for the last one, some people can't afford healthcare, and while we may give other 'free' things away, it's still a con for those that need health care over those other free things.
