i used to be really really overweight as a child.  REALLY overweight. like fifty pounds. i don't know how, but my doctor says i'm not overweight naymore. but i still see it. my jiggly arms. my pouch stomach. my swollen face. my huge thighs.

i'm 5'8''.  128pounds. my measurements are 36, 27, 35. (bust, waist, hips).  my doctor and my mom say that i look fine.  but i don't FEEL fine...i work out for two hours a day and still feel disgusting.  i avoid social events because i always want to wear long sleeves and high socks and it's summer. i avoid entire parties because they're pool parties.

i don't understand...why don't they see what i see...?

they don't see what you see because you don't see reality. you're not fat. i'd kill to weigh that much. it's healthy to be more than skin and bone.

To be honest, you may have a distorted body image. I do a little bit, I just don't tell anyone. I know I'm a very small girl but sometimes I feel way bigger than I am. I think everyone does it a little bit, just some people do it worse than others. If others sincerely think you look okay, don't fret about it. Sooner or later you should accept it and begin to become comfortable with yourself. No biggie. Don't put so much thought into it. [BTW I'm 32, 24, 36.. we're quite similar. ;]]

128 seems definitly skinny enough for being 5'8''..

Just try toning your muscles more!! It could make a big difference

They don't see what you see because its not there.
If you continue to see yourself this way, perhaps you may want to seek psychiatric help.

You might just need to tone a little.

Probably

128 seems a reasonable weight for 5'8"

your medically fine, but you might personally want to loose weight.
