Ok, i used to have an eating disorder... i used to be bulimic, i lost alot of weight but not nearly enough and i ended up ripping my throat and all that shit.

now i NEED to lose about 50.. i keep trying to do it the right way but i always fall back into the binge purge thing. and pretty soon, im gonna hurt myself like that, so i was wondering, if i only ate like 400 calories a day (so i dont throw up) and exercise like 3 days a week, how long will it take to lose 50 pounds?

please dont tell me thats unhealthy cuz i know it is, but its alot better than ripping my throat open again and cutting myself. just tell me if you have had straving expierence, how long???

Health aside, 400 calories a day is far, far too low for optimal weight loss. Your metabolism will slow to a crawl, and most of the weight you lose will be muscle.

i dont care. You know those anorexics? they look thin, the models look good and they eat like that.
i dont care what i lose, i just need to lose it. once i get to my goal weight ill start weight lifing to build tone. i just need to be thin.
and i know for a fact not eating will do that

until you touch food again...then it sucks every ounce up as fat...you will gain twice what you lose that wa

Missed my point there. The less muscle you have, the fewer calories your body will burn.

Your basal metabolic rate is the number of calories your body burns at rest (keeping your heart beating, replacing cells and shizzle). If your BMR is 1500 that is the number of calories you'd burn if you stayed in bed all day. Obviously, the higher your BMR the faster you lose weight (as it's usually more than 2/3 of your total calorie burning).

Muscle is active tissue - it burns energy even when it's at rest. The more muscle you have the higher your BMR and the faster you will lose weight.

You'll lose weight much faster if, rather than starving yourself and losing muscle, you eat lots of protein and do weight training.

I heard that a pound of muscle burns like 3 times as many calories as a pound of fat.  plus its smaller, so if you loose 10 pounds of fat but gain 12 pounds of muscle you will look smaller.  I also heard that people usually actually gain weight after starting to excersize because they have gained so much muscle but lost fat as well, but they look like they have lost weight

Eat lots of fruits vegetables and salads for lunch then do about 20 to 30 sit up a day if not do the sit ups for two days then  after that two days keep doing this and you will lose the weight you want my mom lost a lot of weight doing this especially in her stomach area

Read this.

Basically, if you do this, you'll lose muscle and not fat. Therefore, you will decrease your basal metabolic rate, meaning you use up less calories in a day. Meaning you lose weight slower.

Also, small regular meals increase your basal metabolic rate.

Also, crash dieting (what you want to do) decreases basal metabolic rate.

your body will go into  mode where it thinks that it is not getting enough food, so it needs to conserve it.  it will store almost every calorie you eat as fat.  you wont have anough energy to excersize 3 times a week.  you have to keep junk food out of the house...have healthy snacks available easily(like almonds in your purse or celary already cut up in your fridge) and the thing that helps me the most is making sure i dont have too much extra cash or my bank card with me when i go out to work or something when i dont need it...i tend to impulse buy candy and food whn im on a break, or waiting for a  bus or prety much anywhere that has food.  eating is okay, you just have to be careful what you eat.  if you give yourself the opportunity to binge then you will feel guilty afterward and will be tempted to make yourself sick

That'd be anorexia, love. 1200 minimum, and eat healthy and exercise.

drink as much waater as humanly possible and eat as many fresh or cooked fruits and veggies asyou want (count them as zero cals) this alone should fill you up if you eat enough. then eat about 500 cals of other things like meat (try fish, chicken, or turkey) bread, and dairy.
