I don't know what to believe, i don't know if i should be supportive, or question her on it, because she eats at home but deliberatly doesnt when she's with her friends...  And always makes a huge deal out of it all....   What should i do??

Replies marmalade Posted at 12:34 pm on July 7, 2008 Explain to her that it's a very serious issue and if she knows she has a problem with eating then it should be seen to by professionals. There is the possibilty of her saying it for the attention, but it is important you don't rush to this conclusion in case something really is wrong. I suggest you try and talk to her about it and just let her know you're there to support her. tennisplayerV2 Posted at 11:15 am on July 7, 2008 she literally wants attention...just ignore her and when she makes a big deal out of it just say... do what you want but don't complain bout it she will be mad at frist but once she relizes she is not getting the attention and consern anymore she will begin to eat in front of you and her other friends...just include the others in it otherwise she will look for sympothy from someone else...she reminds me of my old friend...she will say anything to make you feel sorry for her right?  Like ohhh i am ill or my mother yelled at me all the  time...or when i was young my father abused me ect.. ect.  Just don't give her sympathy any more as a matter of fact don't even react to it...trust me she will begin to use you if you don't...think bout it...does she make you feel low bout yourself??? Or maybe calls you up screaming at you cuz everything is YOUR fault...ya she is an a hole and you diserve a better friend...but first try this tecnique and you will find she will begin to relize she's not getting anymore pitty from you...and now she no longer has you under her control. MischaELLE Posted at 11:12 am on July 7, 2008 it sounds like she has some body image issues forsure but it doesnt sound like shes actually anorexic. i had a friend like that before she wouldnt eat allll day but then she would eat at home. she just had some self esteem problems and wanted attention and wasnt happy with her body but  she got over that stage. She's just looking for attention. Maybe talk to her about it.
