There is a girl...lets call her jane.
I used to know jane; i met her in 2nd grade when she was the first person that i didnt know to introduce herself to me. Ill always be thankful for Jane that day.

I never became great friends with Jane though, and by middle school i didnt know more about her than a face and a name.

By junior high we were complete opposites from what i could see,
she was a preppy, popular girl
i was a pretty well known music lover

By high school she was gorgeous
with the skin of someone that tans all the time but never gets freckly

by high school i was "hippie-vegetarian" girl could possibly be too good at staying out of drama and on good terms

and that was that.

until the start of this school year...

i saw her for the first time and couldnt look away.
she was so so skinny
i dont know how she can stand
she has to see the way people look at her and know why.
She was so gorgeous
but now all i see in her are

Cheek bones.

I wish i could go back to second grade
I wish i never assumed her life had to be perfect
I wish i could say something to make things better
like she did for me in second grade

God those cheek bones.

Oh no...

Thats really sad. I feel bad for her.

Hopefully something will happen down the line that will convince her to start eating again... headaches, digestive problems, lightheadedness... hopefully she turns around.
