And she asked me for it and I'm not sure I can give it to her or am the right one. She came to me in tears and I asked her what's wrong. She stared at me and lifted her shirt and showed me her palms. Her hands read, No and Stop. And her stomach said, You fat fucking cow. Mind you, she's a tad overweight, but she's beautiful. She sat there and told me how useless and fat she feels. She told me she is scared nobody will ever love her for who she is. And all I could do was sit there and she sobbed into my shoulder. She asked me for help, and I don't know what to do. What can I do to help besides just being there?

possibly start to get together with her after school or something and exersize with her (on the terms she eats) so that she knows that you are there for her and that you want to help her loose weight in a healthy way

I think you should talk to her about talking to her family to get help and also speaking with a guidance counselor.

She can be helped better by them but you can help by supporting her and to be healthier together.  That would be eating healthy and doing cardio together.  Go for help first.

You either listen to friends or you give advice...or you do both.

Did she do that herself?
