I have found my self trying not to eat like my stomach says eat but my brain says no, and when I get solid food I start tearing it into smaller pieces and then consuming it or when I know I am hungry I wander trying to decide what to eat and then I just get a drink like water or something like I really don't actually eat anymore. Its like I try to find an excuse to not eat but I know I need to and food and eating is constinly on my mind. Am I getting a disorder?

I've had 'manorexia' for a few years, so I know what it feels like to 'forget to eat' even though every part of you is telling you to just get over it and eat! So PM if you wanna chat about it...

Either way, I'll give you a little tip that helped me, and thats to throw the last bite or two of whatever it is you've given into and decided to eat away. Just let go, put it in the bin and even though you've eaten something you'll respect yourself loads (as well as cutting calories) by having the willpower that says I don't need that last bite, I've already eaten 3/4 of a sandwich.

By definition, yes, you have an eating disorder.
I believe the question you are TRYING to ask is "Am I anorexic."
Food restriction is definitely a sign of anorexia.
If you're doing it because you are unsatisfied with yourself, or for control, than you are suffering from anorexia.
