usually severe anorexia = no period but anorexia in a mild form just causes them to be irregular. do you mean the stomach cramps? well i can't compare, because sometimes i get them and sometimes i get them bad and other times i don't get them at all, and when i was anorexic it was the same. obesity can cause irregular periods too, but you have to be obese, not 'fat'. and the irregular periods for obese women is probably more uncomfortable, but i don't know about pain levels. |

| neither is likely to get regular periods, or in the case of anorexia, to get them at all. Cramps depend on a variety of factors, but if ur periods not regular, its more likely to hurt. |

| Obesity and anorexia can both cause irregular periods. Severe anorexia causes periods to stop completely. |
