Try chewing gum is releases stress and keeps you busy.
chewing gum actually makes you hungrier. you're producing and swallowing all this saliva, so your body thinks it's getting fed, and wants food. anyways, to the OP binging is usually a result of boredom, or giving into a craving. if you feel like you know you're in for a bad night..just give yourself a little of what it is you want. have part of a chocolate bar, a scoop of icecream. it's easier to think clearly about a possible meltdown when you've already satiated the part of you that wants to TASTE the food. after that you need to decide if you really want to eat, or if you're just looking for the comfort. of course, if you're super hungry it's way more likely that your resolve will crumble, so don't forget to eat! |

| Calm down. Eat 3 meals/day. Take your time on these meals rather than rushing. Get all the food groups. Excercise, then shower, then a moderate breakfast. Classes. Moderate lunch. Classes, homework. Light to moderate dinner. Homework, maybe a little more excercise--make it light. 6 to 8 hours of sleep. Repeat. Get in this mode and find a work-out partner or people who play active sporty games. PM me if you would like to talk about this or about anything else. |
