Replies assairaanh Posted at 6:13 pm on Nov. 29, 2008 I completely agree as well. I get disgusted when I see pro-ana/mia websites. Why would anyone encourage/want an eating disorder. I understand the hype of being skinny and looking good because I've been there. I've gone days without eating, I've made myself throw up, I've gone on 4 day adderall binges to lose weight, I'm 5'5 and 109 lbs right now and I can barely finish a meal without feeling like i'm going to throw up. And yeah for a while you get skinny and you start to look good and you get the compliments but eventually there's a turning point where you just look nasty. Luckily I have family and friends that cared enough to tell me that I was beginning to look disgusting and unhealthy, and I got so tired that I was unable to do anything and I was constantly stressed. I'm recovering now, and doing great and would never go back to that lifestyle. It has been a freakin nightmare, but i dig her so its just one of those things. I do kind of enjoy going to group and family therapy, gives me a chance to talk about how much her disease sucks for me as well.
