Ok my therapist wants me to write a food diary for my eating disorder recovery. Has anyone else had to do this? If so what do I need to write?

I mean I know the obvious, but like did you have yours in a table? I have no clue how to set it out or anything and I'm stressing out which I know is ridiculous...

Any help would be much appreciated

I just write down what I had and how much

I have to do this to. I set my up like this, for example:
Saturday, 12/6

Breakfast:

Lunch:

Snack:

Dinner:

Snack:

Then I go back at the end of the day and try to think of the positive things like all the nutrients and protein I got during the day.

google food diary and theirs tons you can set up online, although its kind of annoying to go online to write everytime you eat something, probably easiest to write it in pencil. I think theres some you can print out though from online that have a table set up

I use one online, but the one I use is based on losing weight, so that might not be the best of help. Mainly just keep track of the name of the food, how much you ate and how many calories (if you have a certain limit to get to everyday)

My therapist wanted me to do that once, but I couldn't keep up with it. I was kinda lazy.

To be honest I am also too lazy to do one.. especially as I have to plan each page because I'm a friggin perfectionist!

I keep a food diary, in a huge spreadsheet. It is the best way by far, as you can analyse your diet with ease.
