That if you stop eating, all you'll lose is water weight, and you'll gain it back right away? (or don't they say that..)

What if you keep drinking a lot. Then you wouldn't lose water weight, right?

It's not the water weight.  Usually what it is is that when the person just stops eating, the lose all of the extra fat because that is now what the body is feeding off of.  The reason why people gain it all back though is because once they hit that mark, they tend to just binge eat, worse than they did before they starved themselves.

That doesn't make sense.

If you stop drinking, you'll loose water weight, yes. Eating won't effect that. If you stop eating, you'll just get weak. And loose actual weight while your body burns fat, and then muscle. Don't do that. Stay healthy.

If you keep drinking, no, you won't loose water weight.

Uh, I'm pretty sure not eating is NOT a good thing in the first place, so why would you want to do that?

You need to eat in order for your metabolism to activate and burn calories.

I'm not sure about the water thing though. Common sense would dictate yes, but I don't know anything about that.
