no FAST FOOD.
Eat less portions. (Half of what you get at an average restaurant)
Try to make a lot of your meals. No sweets. and lots of grilled foods. Keep track of your calorie intake. A little less than 2000 is usualy good for dieters. Remember to drink lots and lots of water. Stay away from sweet drinks and coffee.

And excercise for an hour daily.

Well, don't eat fast food for a start. If you do, go for something like Subway. Cut out sweet foods, and instead eat fruit, nuts, raw vegetables, yoghurt, and rye crackers as snacks. Eat a good breakfast, cereal high in fibre like Weetbix and All Bran is good. Use cottage cheese as a substitute for butter, and remember that one portion of food should be the size of your palm.

Do at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day, whether it be jogging, or cycling, or joining a gym, and you'll be sweet. :)

How tall are you and how much do you weigh, to begin with.
