If you can't, you can talk to some professionals, such as your physician or guidance counselor and they might be able to help. Colleen35 Posted at 3:20 pm on Dec. 23, 2008 It is bad on your health.  If you want to stop, going to a clinic will help; if you don't want to go, then you need to find a way to get support outside of one.  Try looking for a group in your area; they'll be able to help you think of strategies. However, I can also tell that while you're afraid of the consequences, you really are looking for help. They're your parents, they're going to love you no matter what you do, so I suggest you just wait for some quiet time and you just tell them. Tell them about your fears, everything that you're worried about. PM me if you want to talk. If not ring a helpline or something, but you need to speak to someone properly. Eating disorder places aren't as scary or bad as you think, but it might not even that bad. Just tellt hem straight, they'll be shocked and scared at first, but they just want you healthy.
