Ok, so, I may not be starving myself, but I try my very best to.

Every minute of every day I spend worrying about my weight and how much I eat. If I what I consider to be too much I literally am so ashamed of myself.

However, I do eat. But I am constantly working out a way to cut down my calorie intake.

At the moment I weigh about 119lbs and I'm 5"4, which is not underweight. However, I do wish to loose 14lbs atleast.

The thing is, I only feel satisfied with myself when I haven't eaten a lot that day, it makes me almost high.

Do I have a problem?

Hey there,

Eating Disorders are very bad for your health they effect you inside and out. They could lead to being in a Eating Disorder Clinic or worse. When you have an Eating Disorders it is really hard to stop that's why you need to seek help before you do get one. If you are not eating that is anorexia and that's not good for you. Not eating can lead to many different side effects such as, no energy, getting ill etc. There are a few types of eating disorders such as, Bulimia, Anorexia and binge eating disorder.

However, when you start to worry about your weight all the time it can lead to serious effects, you need to take some time to think about what you're doing to your body, don't let your body take control over you, you can take control here. Working out is OK but if you obsess over it and make it the biggest part of your life you will start failing at school, you'll become ill all the time and you will stop having the energy to carry on. If you want to work out, do it in decent amounts, don't work out more than an hour a day, don't let this get out of hand.

Also, cutting down your calorie intake can be dangerous if you aren't eating enough to survive on, please always have an intake of at least 1500 calories each day, more if you're working out a lot. If you start to feel weak or faint at any point, just eat sugar, don't think about the calories. This is YOUR body, you have the control over what you do. But 119lbs is perfect, it's slightly under the middle of normal weight, losing 14lbs will be the worst decision you could make you are perfect the way you are. Although Make sure you do keep eating and always carry something around with you just in case.

I recommend that you should seek help from you parents or maybe a teacher, perhaps a doctor. Seeking help for this is very important, don't leave it untill it's too late. I think that you should tell your friends and they can help you through this and try tell your parents too they love you, it may seem hard but at least once it's out, then you can start to move on and they can get you help from a doctor. Please message me if you need someone to talk to because this is a hard time for you and it's not fair that you should be alone.

Hope this helps, Derek08.

You may not be under weight, but you are the average weight(Healthy one) for a normal woman, who is 5'4, just like you. You aretn under-weight, and you CERTAINLY arent over weight, calm down, you're normal.

umm im pretty sure 199 lbs for a person thats 5' 4" is not healthy.I'm 5' 3" and 119 lbs and still in the "heavy" category for my height, weight, and age.

I'm not 199lbs. I'm 119lbs, please for the love of god can people learn to read.

IT MAY NOT BE HOW MUCH YOUR EATING.....IT MAY BE WHAT YOUR EATING........IF YOUR EATING A TRIPLE STACK BURGER, BIGGY FRIES AND A DIET SOFT DRINK BIG ENOUGH TO DOCK A JET SKI IN THEN YES YOUR HAVE A PROBLEM.........YOU MAY ALSO HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION THAT EFFECTS YOUR METABOLISM....TRYING EATING SMALLER MEALS MORE OFTEN AND SEE IF THAT SATISFIES YOUR CRAVINGS.......AND SEE A DOCTOR OR NUTRITIONIST

How about you read the post dumb fuck, I'm not over eating and I'd certainly never eat a burger, let alone a three stack one. Yikes.
