I have a friend who had an eating disorder and now I think shes going back to her old ways, she not eating much she told me these things that have me convice, she only eats grapefruit or oranges for breakfest and only eats alittle for dinner and worksout alot, we even workout together for the fun of it but now its not fun. Her family always asking if she ate today or did you eat or what did you eat today and shes getting anoyed with them. She is not sleeping at all either. Im just worried about her. Does this sound like shes going back to her anorerixa ways?

Yes, she is starting to go back to her old ways, you have to be there to support her and let her know that your here to talk. Also if she is going to go back to her old ways, you need to get her help before she gets too sucked into Anorexia again. The further you are in the harder it is to get out. maybe you should talk to her parents about this, or talk to your parents or an adult you can trust.

To be honest... eating disorders don't just go away. Once that.. mindset, I guess.. has been established, it's very hard to shake it and the smallest things can trigger it. It sounds like she's still struggling with it. newmie66 has very sound advice. I'd listen to her =)

If she's struggled with an eating disorder before, it's quite possible that she is having a relapse. For her, chances are the thought of relapsing is very frightening. I think the best thing you can do is let her know that you are concerned and that you are there for her. If she seems to get worse and will not go for help herself, then you might want to consider speaking to her parents or another adult that you trust.

Once you go there, you rarely come back.
