I need to leave, but if you've never done blind contour, that's a really great way to understand detail, especially with hands—or really, just the human body in general. It also helps if you have an awkward position, or your angle is super foreshortened. Plus, it's really fun and silly to do. Night.

I'm reading "drawing on the right side of the brain" actually, and I imagine you found that exercise from there
thats a great deal of shading. maybe I should use graphite someday.. looks pretty great to me. Loving it. lets see you do headshots now with graphite. Im sure you can do it :D (hands are just to easy :D gogogo! )
heads ahhhhhh I've only drawn one head and it was horrible.. I'm reading a book and the next chapter is on portraits...so I'll wait till then aha
