Some of you might remember me posting an australian nature calendar a few years back. Well. I'm no longer a poor school student, so I've redesigned it for 2010, and I'm going to get it printed. This is the finished product:

Front cover:

Inside:

Back cover:

You can view the PDF of my calendar here (7.6mb). Ignore the image quality - I had to compress it a lot.

It's going to print within a week or two. I'm just getting feedback at the moment for any last minute changes. I'm going to give away copies top friends and family for free. I am willing to post some free copies to interested LiveWire members, as long as you cover the postage. I have paypal, which I may give out via PM. I am paying for these calendars to be printed out of my own pocket, so any extra money is appreciated, but not necessary.

Ok folks, I now have 200 printed calendars on my kitchen bench! I will send them to you as soon as you can send me the postage costs (see this thread for 250g parcel costs) for your calendar/s. I will PM my paypal details to everyone who has said they want a copy so far. Please account for currency conversion and AU$2 packaging costs when you send money. E.g. if you have to pay AU$0.60 for currency conversion and postage is AU$6.65, please send AU$9.25.

you should create an order form/a group on FB/something so that you can officially keep track of all of this brooke.

Nah, notepad document seems to be doing the trick :P

I made a list of all interested members, the country you're from, and how many copies. Please let me know if you don't want yours signed, otherwise, I'll just sign them all :)

w00t it looks fantastic, I'd totally buy one.

*hopes you live in Melbourne so I don't have to pay that much postage* haha.

That's awesome, and I'd definitely buy one of those. Postage isn't too bad. A 2011 would be bad ass considering I'll be spending that year (hopefully) in Melbourne, but that's still a while away.

I obviously don't know if this applies there, but here bookstores often have special sections for books and calenders by local authors.
I haven't seen that here, but we do have a few local shops which I bet would sell it for me, but not without taking a cut of the already slim profits. We also have popular weekly markets where I live, but overheads etc are just too much. I'm only printing around 200 copies.

We just don't have enough competition in Australia. Production costs are too high for pretty much everything, because we treat our workers like royalty :P I was lucky enough to find a printer in Australia who would print them for around the same price as print houses China.

you think it would be ok to order a couple around september time if I request then? I might do a few for some christmas presents :) easier to do all at once.
Should be fine :) They take a month or so to print and be sent to me, apparently.

You can calculate postage here if you like: http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/int_parcel_type.asp
