Take this photo and either paint it with watercolors, or use something like photoshop to make it look like watercolor.  Also, leave the buildings black but make the BG shades of blue green and purple and leave the light leaks in.

AND... make it a Polaroid.

I'd also like a few birds added, just black or dark blue silhouettes flying around in the sky.  and possibly accentuate the buildings somehow... maybe by putting a bit of highlight on the spiky parts.

1000 points for something very good, and I will give smaller amounts for even lame attempts.

here's the photo-

try to keep the light leak look, as that is a big part of the original photo.

and as usual, I'd rather this thread die with no replies than be filled with useless drivel.

Better?

I preserved the buildings and made the dawn colors a bit more vivid, not so blurry.

I made it lighter and less harsh:

i like that, but soooo much of the detail at the top of the building has been lost.  The building, and the distinctive top is a HUGE part of the photo that needs to be preserved.

bg is pretty A+ though

Ok, lemme go back and preserve the building's structure. The problem that happened was that when I watercolored the photo, the detail was lost because of the bleeding nature of watercolors. I can try to do something else though.

detail was lost because of the filter...not because of the bleeding nature of watercolors, which is why I'd prefer if someone actually painted it with watercolors instead of doing a digital manipulation.  I know no one wants to put in that kind of effort though and it is a lot to ask.

you guys are sooo bad at this.  lol
...Um, perhaps do it yourself, then.

or, people could not post things that are nothing like what I asked for.  It's really not a hard concept to grasp.

cant do it? then dont post.

Are you wanting it to turn out dark like a haunted castle or something lighter a little more clam with the BGP sky?

I dont want it to look like a haunted castle. I just want the sky to look like it's dusk-ish, or maybe even lighter.

Ok. Thanks. I'll see what I can do.

I tried to meet all your requirements:

that's the closest, but its way too dark and contrast-y... could you do it a bit lighter and less harsh?

i'll be giving you some points regardless

That Polaroid graphic is hideous.
