American Speak = American (Ie: A variation of English, often referred to as American English) English Speak = English (Ie: English English, which equals English.) |

Technically you are correct although Americans do have different slang than other english speaking counties as well as different spellings of words for example color and colour. So this can be argued.

WHY CANT YOU BE MORE LIKE YOUR BROTHERS CANADA AND AUSTRALIA? GAWD *sips tea* American English is a dialect of the English language.
