new york, or new york city?

if its the city, plan on buying a bike and a chain/lock.
plan on having great food, and be on the look out for faux imitation clothing/ bags.

Why bike?  There's bus lines and the subway that'll take you anywhere.

why are obesity rates so high in America?

Because we have fat people.

Don't bring your car. You will get mugged. If you're lucky, you won't have to live in the ghetto.
