How soon could you travel by air after a not-so-serious operation?

Me and my mates are heading away() , and cheap flights are 10 days after one of them has an operation.

He'll be sedated for the operation if that makes a difference. Like I said, it's not a major surgery.

he will be fine, for minor surgery they suggest waiting between 7 and 10 days.

it depends on what the surgery is. he should probably ask his doctor instead of you asking lw.
