I haven't seen her in a year so it'd be nice to see her again. Even though New York City isn't high on my list of places to visit (no offense, I'm not a city girl), it would still be fun to go. And I've never been there. She's never been to the U.S., so she'd probably like to have an American along.
I just have so much damn work/school obligations to do this summer! This is my last "free" summer because I'll have to do an internship the summer after away from here. I have to do a practicum (basically a mini-internship) this summer. It's only 100 hours. But I have to plan a town event so it'll most likely exceed 100 hours. That along with my regular job with the park service. I build trails, but I'm also volunteering as a park ranger for more work experience since I'm a recreation and tourism major--raking woodchips doesn't do much good. So there goes my weekends, along with the community service I already do. I'm taking a week off in July to go out West, and they get pissed if you take off too much work so I might end up not get re-hired another summer at the park. My summers are pretty much about resume building, I basically have no life then, haha.
Yeah, It'd be fun but I really don't know if I'm able to. Even though I could be in New York in three hours and it'll be a week max. It's not like she wouldn't go if I weren't going along. Any advice?
