Last Monday, my birthday, he told me that he was going to give me some extra Spamalot tickets he had, but he needed something to appease this client he inadvertently pissed off.   So he gave them to him.

Fine and dandy, I thought, I didn't get them so I shouldn't miss not having them.  He instead bought a cake for the office, and this cake was delicious in 7 of it's 8 layers.  The other layer was delicious x2 as it was a marble layer.

Just now, he told me that the tickets him and his wife were going to use were given to someone else because his wife got sick the day of. He was going through a list of people to give them to, and there was only one guy before me.  This guy never picked up, when my boss realized he didn't have my number. It was 5 p.m. when he was calling coworkers to find out my number, when the first guy he called to see if he wanted the tickets called back.  I didn't find out till today.

I mean my boss is a swell guy, really. What kind of a boss would do something like this for employees first off, and second off who would do it for PARTTIME employees?  Just, you know, ARRERRRRGGHGGH.
