No. Closed adoption means that you don't get any updates and you never see the child again. Open adoption means letters and pictures, but usually not meeting them (although that depends on the adoptive parents; some are more open to meetings than others). |

| Your medical bills will get covered by the adopting couple usually. Some may also pay you, but it is by no means required. |
