I'm staunchly pro-choice but most women who regret it are people who had second guesses that they didn't listen to. You can always re-book if you're still early in your pregnancy. It's not an easy decision to make. What I will tell you is that having a baby so someone will love you is a bad idea. Babies don't give love, they take it. You should want a baby because you want what's best for the BABY, not what you think is best for YOU. Being a single mother is scary, but hardly impossible. Most young mothers are and we get by. You learn to appreciate a lot of aspects of it. I've been a single mother since day one and I enjoy it a lot, enough to turn down many dating opportunities. The money issue can be overcome as well. You could get a job for the remainder of your pregnancy, storing away as much as you can. You could apply for welfare, WIC or other social aide programs. You could talk to your parent(s) about helping out until you can get on your feet. You have options. Unfortunately that's about the best advice you're going to get. No one can make your decision for you. Do you WANT to be a mother? In general? Do you WANT to have a baby? Do you WANT to have your life change in dozens of ways over the next couple years?
