I want a baby so bad it drives me crazy.  I want nothing more that to be a mom, but I know that right now isn't the best time for me to try to get pregnant.  Everytime I see a baby it makes me want one even more.  Ever since I was little I have wanted to be a young mom, and that time is quickly getting away from me.  It is driving me crazy.  I could easily raise a child right now, but I want to do what is best for my future kids, and I know that not having them right now, would probably be best.  I want the whole deal, the belly, the symptoms, the cravings, everything!  I don't know what to do!  It is driving me up the wall.

You look like my sister and it scares the shit out of me. Especially considering this topic.
I am hoping that looking like your sister isn't a bad thing.

Pregnancy is glamorized by the media. Really its not all showers and room decorating.

I know that.  I know plenty about pregnancy, and none of it came from the media.

I know what you mean. In some ways I feel the same way.
I'm 19. I would lOVE to be a mother. However I wouldn't want a baby at this point in my life; but at the same time I cannot wait to be a mother. It doesn't make much sense but to me it does lOl.

just out of curiosity how old are you?

I want a child at this point in my life, but I want it to be at the perfect time.

It just isn't. I don't know why, it's just not. I'd like to buy our own house first. Which should be fairly soon.

At least it's not too long to wait then...

When will be the perfect time? What are you waiting for?

I am thinking you are early twenties from what I've seen you post. Why isn't now a perfect time?

You tried to have a baby since 13?  You cannot be freaking serious.  That is just plain stupid.
Yes, the future father wants a baby.  Yes, he is going to be around.  I grew up without a dad, and it wasn't that hard.  I honestly didn't miss him one bit.

ok well if you are trying to be a bitch to me, it dont matter. i was trying to stick up for you. but you really are not ready to have a baby if you come to a teen site talking to people about if you should be a mother or not. howold are you? You say it does not matter, but it does. If i were to of gotten pregnant when I was 13 i would of been f*****.

I don't need sticking up for. I'm not trying to be a bitch, I was responding to what you posted. I am ready for a baby. That isn't up for discussion, nor was it any part of my question. I never asked if I should be a mother or not. You really should learn to read. My age does not matter. I am ready, that is all that is relevant.

Will you stop being so bloody insolent? If you're so convinced that you'd be the perfect mother, why aren't you?

And parenthood isn't just about money, it's about life experience and maturity too. You must be what, 18-19?

I never said I would be the perfect mother, but I know that I will be a good mother.
I am more than aware that parenthood is not just about money, but it is a big part in being able to raise a child.  I have plenty of life experience and maturity to raise a child.
I am simply waiting for the perfect time to bring a child into the world, and waiting is driving me mad.

I was the same way too. and i tried to have a baby since I was 13, thank god it never happened till now, because all those guys have came and gone, You have to think about, the dad too. does he want a baby? will he be there? i grew up with out a dad, and it was tough, so you need to think about that, and all I can say is when it is hte right time it will happen. Good luck with what ever you want sweetie.
