If you were adopted, I would greatly appreciate it if you could tell me if the experience has affected your life- if it has- positively or negatively?
ANything really will help!
thanks.
I would never, ever, EVER put a child up for adoption. Ever.
lived with my grandfather for a while but got taken away from that.
I am.... My adoptive parents have always been really open about it, and have answered any questions I've had, so that makes it a lot easier. When I was little, I used to ask stuff like 'did my other family not love me?' and things like that. I've never met my biological parents, but I may soon. They were really young when they had me, like my age now (16) so that's why they thought it was best to give me up. Overall, it's not a very significant part of who I am as a person, it's just a small part of who I am. My family is my family, biological or not.

I had a friend that was going to put her baby up for adoption after she had it, but once she had it she realized that carrying it around for nine months made her grow attached to her baby.
