| In a lot of women depo causes periods to stop all together. Like most hormonal contraception it can cause mood differences, weight gain, and a whole host of things that may OR may not happen. I really suggest talking to your Dr. about the side effects- it can cause bone loss so it's important to be taking enough calcium and vitamin D (you can talk to your dr. about this as well) This is a VERY effective form of birth control, but it's important to know the side effects and your doctor should really explain better than we can. |

| is it like the implant? anyway, most BC like that can cause mood swings and affect your period...mostly its different for each person. some girls periods stops, some get heavier, some irregular. if unsure, consult doctor that gave it to you, they should have told you all the side effects from it anyway. |
