What do you think? The guy were talking about was abused and put in a foster home he doesn't want his kid to end up with a bad childhood

Taking responsibility just because you think you have to means that your actions aren't genuine and not done out of love or anything, but it's still a good thing to do most of the time. Well, I would say the fact that he doesn't want his child to have the same childhood as his/her father because it was not so enjoyable. It is only right to want someone you love dearly to have a good childhood, to have a good life. So that is what I think is right.
