You know quite well.  By throwing in an eye roll you are giving the impression that you don't think that I will do what I say I am goinh to do because you were not able to do so.  Also the way you stayed "good luck with that" implied doubt once again and a very childish demeanor.  Had you said good luck and left it at that or even simply left out the eye roll you would not have appeared as childish as you do.

Don't be childish. Just because you wanted to know doesn't mean that I will want to. I do NOT want to know and I will NOT find out. Many people start off saying they want to wait to find out and let their curiosity get to them but I am not one of them. I have the will power because in the long run I will regret finding out. Since I was a little girl I have wanted it to be a suprise and it will be.

How am I being childish?
And good for you?

I won't let my curiosity get to me. I have always wanted a suprise and I am dead set on having a suprise. I will be able to buy baby things, they will just be gender neutral.

I may let my husbnad know but I don't want to know.

Yeah, good luck with that.

I said that too when I wasn't pregnant. "I want a surprise"

It's different when your actually pregnant and you want to start buying clothes and everything for the baby. The curiosity got to me and I caved in. So glad I did.

Yep, I'd want to know.

I don't really know to be honest. I'd like to know so that I could prepare appropriately, but then I'd like the element of surprise.

I like doing things the old fashioned way of not knowing, and that's probably what I will do with any future children. For Kai, though, we had to find out. It was already an extremely rough situation, so we were taking any help that we could get in preparing for her.

We did with our first and with our second when we went to the ultrasound we didn't want to find out but once the cursor went over that specific area there was no mistaking it. We knew before she would've been able to tell us had we wanted to know lol.

I did, and plan to always. I don't like surprises.

I am going to with this pregnancy. It means a lot, and we really want a girl. If it isn't a girl I will probably be a little upset at first but will love any child I have. At least we can go ahead and start on the nursery!

I did with my son, because he was my first and it's hard with the first. I don't intend to with any subsequent children. :-)
