I've noticed that Kai has become very cliny, and attached to me. The same thing with her pacifier. I'm thinking it may have something to do with her being with her father. I'm not trying to keep her away from him, but she spend the weekend there, and now she came back like this.

I'm very proud of her, though. She has now learned how to let go of the furniture, and stand by herself. She does that for a couple of seconds, and then she falls on her butt :P

Is he paying child support while he is gone? If not, you should file paperwork to have him start paying. That is the least he should do since he won't be there to help with her. I really hate immature teen fathers.

He will be paying child support. We don't have to get the law involved, or anything, so we have decided on $42 a week, because he doesn't make all that much.

It's normal. My son will be 2 in August and he used to be very clingy. He had a pacifier that he used when he was very little and he didn't use it after he turned 1, but he always carried it around. He stopped carrying it around with him about 6 months ago. Don't worry.

Exactly! I've had her since day one, he's not taking her with him to Syracuse. I don't even think he's going to college, I think he's just making up an excuse to justify going away. He told me he'll be down for holidays, but that's it. He's really quite ridiculous.
Italianlnm Posted at 1:49 pm on July 9, 2009
Well of Course Not! She needs her mommy! And it is odd, if he was going to college he would even have a place for her.. Well at least he isn't that far away, and can drive down on the weekends to see her. Zac is 8 hours away at the moment. We are flying to see him Friday night. That should be a fun ride.. but I am hoping since the flight is at night the boys will fall asleep.

He's extremely attached to her Grandpas. Both my dad, and Randy's dad. He's moving like 2 1/2 hours away. I guess he's going to college, or that's what he told me. I doubt it, though. I wonder if he's taking his girlfriend, or leaving her, too. He wanted to take Kairi, and I was like NO!
Italianlnm Posted at 1:40 pm on July 9, 2009
That is good that you will still have a break sometime, and she can see her grandparents. How faw away will he be? You would think that he wouldn't move away from his baby girl.
MissPrixy07 Posted at 1:39 pm on July 9, 2009
It's sad that his daddy's not there with him, but at least it's for a good cause. I honestly don't know how Kairi is going to deal when Randy moves, next month. His dad and step-mom offered to take his place, though, so I still won't have her all the time.
Italianlnm Posted at 1:36 pm on July 9, 2009
Yeah.. I ignore him sometimes to, but I pick him up others because I know the only reason he is doing this is because Zac is gone. He is such a Daddy's boy.
MissPrixy07 Posted at 1:35 pm on July 9, 2009
Aw, that's so cute! Kairi is so clingy, lately. Luckily, though, I can put her down, and she's fine, as long as she knows I'm still right there. If I put her down in the other room, and I walk away, she starts SCREAMING. I try to ignore her, because she's going to have to get used to me not being able to be with 24/7, but she throws herself on the floor, and holds her breath, and I have to pick her up.

Yeah. She is going to start going through the stage where she doesn't want her mom to leave, and she always wants you to hold her and stuff. Roper is in that stage right now. He is sitting on my lap right playing with blocks. If I put him down he starts screaming.

He doesn't hit the keys?! I can never have Kai on my lap when I'm on the computer. Even if I keep the keyboard is pushed in, she still pushes buttons :P

Occasionally but he is more content playing with his blocks and stuff.

I give her my cell phone to play with, and she's not even happy with that!

He is pretty easy to please. Loves his little cars to play with. And he loves these stuffed block things. But lately I can't put him down with out starting to scream so I sort of have to deal with it. I think it is because usually he is a daddy's boy, but Zac isn't here and he misses Zac. But since we are going to visit him this weekend maybe it will help a little.
