We both got buzzed and were having a great time talking, she was on my lap for a bit and then we went different ways in the party. In the morning she was in a bed with her ex boyfriend, and obviously I didn't care I didn't expect anything I just met her. I'm friends with her ex boyfriend to, he's a cool guy. Here's the thing, he's not interested in her at all (besides free sex obviously), this kid gets laid by a different girl at least once a week. And after that party he left for college. So anyway, he was gone and to my surprise she wanted to keep in contact with me after the party, so I got her phone number and all that stuff and we talked/texted/IMed each other ever night and started hanging out frequently, I had a party at my house, ended up giving a her a message (didn't lead to anything but whatever). And yeah even now we hang out all the time, we're really comfortable with each other. And after spending all this time with her I know for sure that I really fucking like her, her body is perfect, her personality is amazing, she is strong because she was abused as a kid and now lives with a different family but has to pay a lot of her own bills(and despite living a childhood like that she is very happy and sweet), she's smart, takes all honor classes, and I can talk to her easily, I have to force her to let me pay for her, ect. I can't really find her flaws. So the problem, she's obsessed with her ex boyfriend. She hasn't seen him since that last party, she KNOWS that he just wants sex and screws so many other girls, but she still wants him and only him. She takes little surveys on myspace all the time and when they ask "Do you think you'll be in a relationship 3 months from now" or something to that effect the answer is always "I doubt it...", or questions like "Do you currently like anyone", she says "Only one person...". At some point soon i'll probably tell her that I like her, just for the hell of it, but I don't think anything can come of it. It's a shame but i'll probably still end up being her friend which I wouldn't mind that much.. Do you guys think she's just playing a game or is there no hope?

I want to keep the tone casual though so I was thinking something like this. I pick her up we joke around and listen to music like usual on the ride, then when I'm at her house before she goes just say (while smiling and staring into her eyes the whole time) "Hey Sarah (her name), you've probably already guessed but I do like you, take that as you will, I really wanted to get it off my chest." and then see what she says, and if she openly says she likes me back i'll set up a date. I'm sure she'll be happy about it in any case, so if she doesn't melt all over me right there she'll have the whole night to think about me =) Thoughts? Comments? Azi Posted at 10:21 am on Sep. 28, 2008 I decided that I'm going to tell her around thanksgiving time. My parents will be going on vacation and I'm going to throw a party and tell her there. I can easily tell her it just has to be at a good time, and most of the time when we're hanging out it's with our other friends and I don't want anyone to hear the conversation and at the same time I don't want to have to pull her away to talk to her in private because I want it to be a casual thing.
