okay so this guy and i used to be friends with benefits, but i ended it cause he wasn't talking to me at all anymore

my friend said that it was okay for him to do that cause we were just friends with benefits
but last time i checked, fw/b implies "friends"...and friends talk
but she's saying that's like asking for a relationship, which i wasn't

your opinion?

and what do you do when a friend isn't talking to you?
Satine Posted at 4:16 am on Nov. 18, 2008
Every friendship works on the basis that both/all participants are happy with the way things are. If you want a FWB who's a bit more talkative then that's your right.

If he doesn't and it's not negotiable to either of you then it's best to finish it and look elsewhere.

Friends with benefits are people to talk to when you want sex. Simple really.

I'd consider the 'friends' in FWB to be a loosely applied term

"Free sex" portrays it more correctly.

What she said.

That being said, I'm rather biased since I dislike the practise of keeping a FWB.
