Student-teacher relationships are stupid as it stands. Why would someone want to date their teacher? That's just wrong. Find someone your own age and have sex with them. If you're going after a teacher, it shows everyone that you can't get someone your own age |

| Professional ethics and school regulations prevent relationships. After she is out of hs then it changes. |

I am pretty sure that its illegal when a person of authority has sex with a person they have authority over... like that coach who was in the news a while back, or a teacher. I'm obviously no lawyer or cop or anything, but I was pretty sure that's the law.
It depends on local laws. In my case for example, it changes the age of consent from 16 to 18 if there's a position of power. It also doesn't look good in terms of obscurity about free consent having been given. |

There was a case recently in NYC about a 37-yr-old woman having a relationship with a male teen model who was now 18, and who was also never in school, leading the question of whether or not she should be arrested for having sex with a student. Or something like that. I might've skimped on a few details.
Perhaps it was that the student was under 18 at the time? That's the only way it would be illegal. Either that or local laws have an AOC higher than 18, or criminalize something about the relationship eg anal sex (it happens). |

| i don't think they should be fired. if they're within the law then there is nothing wrong with it. what teachers do in their off time is their own business. |

| It's still unprofessional of the teacher to have a relationship with a student. Even if it isn't illegal, most likely the teacher would get fired for it. |
