True love, the kind they talk about in books. Where you look at each other and just KNOW you're in love. And where you feel every emotion known to man welling up inside of you...

Is that how it feels? I mean, I've preached about love before. But I don't want that shit that grows over a long period of time. I want it to hit me like a brick wall.

But isn't that just for a select group of people? The beautiful, the intelligent, the most unlikely, the aloof/cold/distant?

I think I'm never going to read another book in my life. This is to depressing and unrealistic. I just want to know if that's how it feels.

I thought I was in love when I was a teenager but it was testosterone and growth hormones playing ping-pong with my body and brain.  I now know what love is completely.  When you are capable of removing the letter "I" from your vocabulary and replace it with "you" and "we" it makes it much easier.  Finding a person that shares common standards for character, values, interests, goals, future can take a bit longer.  Don't compromise in the process.

Well, for everyone it's different.

For me..
My mind, my heart, my everything,
just went crazy bonkers
with love. There was a completion.
I reallllllllllly could go on, but I wont.
I dont know..
Just because it's in a book,
doesnt mean it cant be real.

"Love is just a four letter word"-Bob Dylan

its up to you to define love
because different people feel different ways about that

It's silly to ask other people to describe it for you.

Well, I'm just wondering. I don't love my mom, or at least I can't feel it. That made me wonder if I would feel it if it were someone else.

Wait, I love her but it's like a connection. I'm just apart of her so it's...hard wired?

Love hits you but not until you've gotten to know the person I'd say. Once lust and love combine.
