There should be three parts of your life, each equally important, and none of them capable of influencing the other parts. Your Family, Friends, and significant other. Therefore your family cannot choose your friends or significant other. Your friends cannot be used as a way to avoid family obligations, or be determinates in dumping a sig other. and your significant other cannot overrule your friends or family.
