Why in the high hell and the low fuck do teenage girls spend so much time every single day primping up their hair and makeup and all that STUPID ass shit just to impress men, supposedly?

Seriously, I tried that shit once, but let's just say I said "the fuck with this!" and gave up pretty fast. Men are fucking pigs and don't love or appreciate anything anyway, I don't get why these moron teenagers go to all the trouble.

What a waste of perfectly good time.

Well pretty much every man I have met, even on the internet, was a complete dickwipe to me.

My biggest weak spot is that I let things people do and say really damage me inside. In that sense, I always have been very weak.

Like that time I was walking on the sidewalk listening to my iPod and someone I didn't even know who was sitting in a car just threw a can of soda at me for no reason. And I turned around just in time to see them squealing away down the street.

What you've got to understand is that the human race as a whole are rude individuals, no matter what. We are always going to judge, based on looks, race, color, personality, etc, no matter what. It doesn't matter who you are, you are still a human and it is in our nature to judge.

But like I said, not everyone is out to get to you. The world doesn't hate you like you seem to think, you're just thinking it does because of the way people have treated you in the past and the way they are treating you now. To me it just seems like you're a little bitter towards those individuals that have teased you or been rude to you in the past, but remember that it's not always going to be like that.

And as for that person who threw the soda can at you; I wouldn't take it personally, you're making a mountain out of a molehill. Some people are just douchebags, and will do whatever they want to whoever they want, no matter who you are or what they think about you personally. I wouldn't take it to heart so much, because you obviously have low self-esteem.

You can't always let people get to you, because the more you let them the weaker you become until eventually, you're just an easy target. Build up your self-confidence by doing something nice for yourself every once in a while, like taking a day at the spa or just relaxing by yourself. Compliment yourself every once in a while, too, even when it's hard. Look in the mirror and tell yourself you're beautiful. If you can't manage that, don't focus on the flaws you think you have, rather on the good aspects of you.

And things do get better, for the record. One day your self-esteem will be higher than ever and all this will just be a thing of the past.

on behalf of my gender i would like to start by saying STFU!

Many girls, not just teenagers i might add, are insicure about their looks, and wear make-up to make themselves feel better. They like to be seen at their 'best' as it's all about animal instincts, they want to get the hottest, smartest and most athletic guy possible, as they would make good babies, making sure the human race doesnt become weak and stupid.

Personally though, I'm an artist, and see makeup as a painting you wear on your face ^-^

Sounds like someone is unlucky in love.

Yeah, a lot of people hate me for literally no reason at all. Or because they think I am creepy, or a freak, or "ugly" or something stupid like that...

I've never even had a real relationship before...

Guys especially have made me a very unhappy girl.

I'm the same way, only male, and without all the bitterness.

LittleBombs Posted at 8:13 am on Jan. 4, 2009
I only do it for myself. No one else. Maybe the reason you stopped is because you were doing it for other reasons.

Girls like to look nice, it gives them a bit of confidence. Whats so wrong about that?

Plus not all men are pigs, and some do notice these things.

That's no reason to think all men are pigs. Sure, some definitely are assholes, but not every man in the world isn't exactly the same. There will always be at least one guy out there who thinks you're beautiful in every way and who will love you for exactly who you are, inside and out. You've just got to find that guy.

I do it for myself more than anything. I feel more confident wearing make-up.

It's fun and I like to do it. It's just something I'm interested in. Unless I'm going to see my boyfriend, I don't really look good for anyone but myself. I don't spend a lot of time doing it, though.
