Continue talking to him normally, but the most important is to tell him how you really feel about him. Tell him you want to know him better first, before making any decisions, and that you need time to think (if this is the case). He will most likely continue talking to you, without ignoring you, because now he thinks you're beginning to like him (you might be, or not, but he'll still think that). And, as he thinks you're annoyed with him, tell him you're not, and say that you just want to be good friends like before.
