I guess you have to wait until you're fully settled to find 'the one'.. these relationships are always destined to fail. I think he wants you to casually date to be happy, or maybe he knows you will split up eventually and he wants it to go down smoothly and nicely so nobody gets hurt.

maybe he feels guilty bout tryin 2 keep u away from guys 4 2years and doesnt want u to blame him for him for not having a reletionship if u break up

to make up for the emotional and physical depriving, its the same thing with my b/f he graduates in about 5 months and hes got enough scholarships to go to college for 8-12 years enough for his PhD, we dont know if we'll wait for eachother but we're going to try =D
