It is too much to ask for and you are moving too fast if you haven't been together for long, like a couple of months or less. Your boyfriend should always compliment you, but he should not be obligated to spit out "I love you"s all the time or at all until he feels it. You want him to truly feel love, don't you? I would walk through doors and i would think that that is not a big deal... apparently to him it was....  well anyways, he was the perfect (dream) guy and then.... he turned out gay.  I broke up with him because i had to move and he told me that he was using me as a coverup and and then he started to make out with his friend.... i havent dated since.
