From what I've read you seem like a genuinely great guy and a great girl will see that some day and you will make her very happy. Be patient and your time will come. I'm in a similar situation so I know how you feel and it really sucks especially when you want a relationships o bad. Not for sex but just for someone to be there for you that you can feel loved by in an intimate way. Harden up, but that doesn't mean taking advantage of a girl to lose your virginity. It means stop being so wimpy and nice even when they are sober. That's how I would see it.
