We hear about men who have been given life sentences for abusing women physically (and quite rightly so, they deserve to be locked up)
On the other hand...
How many women out there abuse men mentally with there little mind games?
I've seen men driven to insanity and even killing themselves over women... who were just "playing" all along.
Personally, I think mental abuse isnt any less wrong than physical abuse..... because it still causes damage to peoples lives and can even end them.
So here's my question...
Why is it right that a man should be locked up for abusing women physically..... when women on the other hand can play there mind games all they want... and get away with it scot free?
I just think it's wrong... but thats my opinion.
Please discuss
(and no abuse to anyone else with differing opinions)
If you want to keep it consistent though, you can say that women physically abuse men but hardly ever get punished; the guy is supposed to be able to handle it and is weak if he can't, it's a double standard.

The only problem with the "mindgame" punishments is that it all has to do with interpretation. I mean the girlfriend could say something that pushes a guy over the edge, and may not have meant it like that, ya know? I'm talking about things like.... 1. Planning to go on a date, and she doesnt turn up... or cancels without any notice, and doesnt even apologize for it later. 2. Saying she doesnt mind where you's go on the date, and when you choose somewhere to go.... she complains about it anyway 3. Getting a man sexually aroused.... then suddenly ignoring him... to make him chase. (thats the worst) 4. Getting a guys number... but never calling him, just so she can prove to herself that she can get it. 5. Saying things, then doing the exact opposite. These are just a few examples to help you get an idea of what I mean by "mind games" Oh yeah, you're right then. That's freaking obnoxious. haha

It might just seem that way from a womens perspective.... but for a guy, these type of things can ruin him.

I said no abusive posts
this.
You can't really prove mind games in court can you? Whilst physical abuse has.. physical proof.
And that makes it any more justifiable?
